Research Internships/ Schools/ Workshops
A few good starting points for finding internships, summer schools, and workshops in astronomy/planet formation.
- Internships in India by Shravya — A list of internship opportunities for Indian students in India and abroad. It also contains a small set of opportunities, especially for Indian women.
- Useful online material on Astronomy by Bhavesh — A unique list that contains links to Online courses, Python tutorials, Grad school guides, DIY website building for academia, and more.
- Pathways to science — An unending list of research internships and other space-related opportunities in the US. Many require US citizenship to be eligible.
- Harvard list of internships — A small but useful list of astronomy-related research internships in the US and abroad.
- Projectyl physics internships in India — A list of internships and summer/winter schools/workshops across the world with a special focus on India.
- Astrophysics summer programs by Stephen Turban — A small yet impactful list of astrophysics programs for high-school students mainly in the US.
- Black in Astro — A list of the most famous astronomy research internship programs across the world, open to various nationalities.
- Zapplyjob list of internships — A relatively generic list of science research internships across the world. Some postings are specific to Indian students.

- The Astrobetter Rumor Mill — A community-driven list of Postdoc and term positions (and fellowships) that is updated very regularly and used widely.
- AAS Division for Planetary Sciences — An almost exhaustive list of graduate programs (MS and Ph.D.) in planetary sciences in the US, Europe, and the UK
- AAS Division for Solar Physics — An almost exhaustive list of graduate programs (MS and Ph.D.) in solar physics in the US and other countries
- American Institute of Physics — The ultimate list of all the US universities that provide Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Physics and/or Astronomy with critical program stats.
- Astrobetter article by Yvette Cendes — A quick starter on how to decide between Master's and Ph.D. in Europe, and which are some of the most famous programs. The comment section has some useful discussions too.
- Indigo consortium (Gwaves) — An (incomplete) list of research institutes offering PhD programs in Gravitational-Wave Astronomy and related fields in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia (and India, separately).
- Indian astronomy institutes by Asmita Bhandare — A near-complete list of Indian institutes offering Master's and Ph.D. programs (including integrated ones) in Astronomy.
